The Tampa Bay Lightning hosted Dave Andreychuk Foundation night on Thursday, March 18, 2010.  Fans could purchase tickets to see the Lightning take on the one of Dave’s former teams, the Buffalo Sabres and donate to his foundation.  

Several other fundraising events were being held that night at the St. Pete Times Forum that added to the overall success of the evening.  

Fans in the Brickwall Club could participate in chance drawings to win Dave Andreychuk autographed memorabilia.  Dave’s wife Sue and several of her friends were on hand to sell the tickets.


The Lightning Foundation designated silent auction proceeds for the evening to the Dave Andreychuk Foundation, Dave also donated several items from his personal collection to the auction.  High bidders from the auction were also offered the opportunity to meet Dave after the game.


All proceed from the event will benefit the Moffitt Cancer Center.  A big thank you to all who supported the event!

 As honorary chairman of the Motorcycles for Moffitt Poker Run, Dave lead the bikers from the Harley Davidson of New Port Richey to the Harley Davidson of Brandon.  It was a chilly morning but many bikers braved the cold to raise money for research at the Moffitt Cancer Center.
