Dave Andreychuk scored 640 NHL goals. There's a bronze statue of him in front of Amalie Arena, holding the Stanley Cup. He played 1,597 regular-season games before he finally lifted that trophy. Full Article here...

Tampa, FL Thank you to all our fans and friends who came out to support the mission of the Dave Andreychuk Foundation at Amalie Arena on March 5 2016,. Guests purchased tickets to see the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Carolina Hurricanes in the Verizon Suite and proceeds from the ticket sales benefitted the Foundation. Guests were treated to delicious food and beverages throughout the night and were hosted by Dave Andreychuk. Dave greeted guests, mingled and was available to sign autographs and take photos. There were chance drawings and a silent auctions that included autographed sports memorabilia and experiences. Thank you to the guests and following companies for supporting this event: Tampa Bay Lightning Yeoman’s Cask & Lion Pura Cycling Studios Total Wine Ulele Restaurant and Brewery Stonewood Grill and Tavern Skin Solutions in Wesley Chapel Jessica Roberts at Salon at the Walk in New Tampa Dave Andreychuk for items in his personal collection The event was a huge success and raised approximately $10,000 to be donated to local charities! Hope to see everyone next year! Congratulations to Ian Roach and Joseph Pergolizzi, two Tampa area high school senior hockey players, who were honored at the Tampa Bay Lightning game on March 13, 2014 by the Dave Andreychuk Foundation and the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation. Both were chosen as recipients of the Dave Andreychuck Scholarship for 2014! Roach and Pergolizzi were among local high school seniors who were introduced to the fans at the game during the second intermission.
"With your on ice dedication, leadership to the game of hockey and your off ice commitment to make the Tampa Bay area a better place to live, you both are very deserving of the scholarship." Dave shared with Ian and Joseph Join us in congratulating these two young men The Dave Andreychuk Foundation presented a cheque to the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council for $10,000 which is part of the $100,000 commitment the foundation made to minor hockey. So far the foundation has given $80,000 which goes towards paying for approximately 125 kids per year to play minor hockey. The cheque presentation was held at the Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena.

At this year’s event we supported 3 different non-profits. Operation Helping Hand www.operationhelpinghandtampa.com A non-profit organization that helps severely injured active duty and medically retired War on Terror service members being treated at James A Haley Veteran’s Hospital Faces of Courage http://facesofcourage.com A non-profit organization that offers free camps and events for children, women and their families with cancer and other blood illnesses in the Tampa Bay area. Lightning Foundation http://lightning.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=50496 Through the Lightning Foundation, The Dave Andreychuk Foundation provided all house league hockey players in the Tampabay area with Lightning branded jerseys for the upcoming season. The Dave Andreychuk Foundation with the help of the Lightning Foundation annually gives 2 collage scholarships to senior high school hockey players in the Tampa bay region. This our 4th year. This years winners of $2500 are Kyle Rosenbach (Wiregrass High School/ St. Leo University)
