Jan. 24th, 2009
Dave dropped the puck and signed autographs at the Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena.
The provincial Jr. "A" plays its home games at the Arena and Dave signed autographs between periods.
October 2009, several young hockey players from the Hamilton Minor Hockey Association were on hand to help draw winning tickets
for prizes donated by the Dave Andreychuk Foundation.
Money raised by this event supported specific Hamilton Minor Hockey Association Houseleague players who may not otherwise have the resources to participate in this hockey program. The chance drawing was held at The Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena, Hamilton, ON.
October 29, 2009 Tampa Fights Cancer Night at St. Pete Times Forum
The Yerrid Foundation and the Tampa Bay Lightning hosted over 4,000 cancer patients, survivors and caretakers to watch the Lightning take on the Ottawa Senators. Dave Andreychuk was one of the many Lightning celebrities to stop by and say hello to some of the special guests in attendance that night.
March 13, 2010, as honorary chairman of the Motorcycles for Moffitt Poker Run, Dave lead the bikers from the Harley Davidson of New Port Richey to the Harley Davidson of Brandon. It was a chilly morning but many bikers braved the cold to raise money for research at the Moffitt Cancer Center.

The Tampa Bay Lightning hosted Dave Andreychuk Foundation night
on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Fans could purchase tickets to see the Lightning take on the one of Dave’s former teams, the Buffalo Sabres and donate to his foundation.
Several other fundraising events were being held that night at the St. Pete Times Forum that added to the overall success of the evening.
Fans in the Brickwall Club could participate in chance drawings to win
Dave Andreychuk autographed memorabilia. Dave’s wife Sue and several
of her friends were on hand to sell the tickets.
The Lightning Foundation designated silent auction proceeds for the evening to the Dave Andreychuk Foundation, Dave also donated several items from his personal collection to the auction. High bidders from the auction were also offered the opportunity to meet Dave after the game.
All proceed from the event will benefit the Moffitt Cancer Center. A big thank you to all who supported the event!

Hamilton Funfest

The Dave Andreychuk Mountain Arena and Skating Center in Hamilton, was a fun filled day at the arena! The event included food, prizes and hockey related activities both on and off the ice. Friends and fans had the
opportunity to meet their Hamilton born hero! Proceeds from the event will benefited The Hamilton Minor Hockey Association and The Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation.

Dave Andreychuk presents a check for $5,000.00 from the Dave Andreychuk Foundation to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. The Tampa Bay Lightning hosted Dave Andreychuk Night and the proceeds from the event were earmarked to benefit Moffitt. Accepting the check for Moffitt is Deputy Director, W. Jack Pledger, Ph.D.

Operation Helping Hands
Dave and Lightning Host the organization Operation Helping Hands at the February 4th Lightning game. Operation Helping Hands is a wonderful organization that assist wounded and injured veterans and their families.
The Dave Andreychuk Foundation would like to thank Operation Helping Hands for all they do for veterans! Keep up the great work!
On March 25, 2011 Dave Andreychuk was the Keynote Speaker for the Hamilton Charity of Hope. Hamilton's Mayor Bob Bratina, 2007 Canadian Idol Winner Brian Melo, Hamilton's Citizen of the Year Peter Mercanti, Hamilton Tiger Cat Dave Stala, Retired NHL star and Hamiltonian Ric Nattress as well as hundreds of guests filled Carmen's Banquet hall for an unforgettable evening of dinner, auction, and Dave's Hockey Story.
The function raised $100,000 for The Charity of Hope.
In gratitude and support, The Charity of Hope made
a donation to The Dave Andreychuk Foundation.

TSPPD: Fallen Warriors Benefit Game
A benefit game for fallen officers Sergeant Thomas Baitinger, Officer Jeffrey Yaslowitz and Officer David Crawford was held at the Tampa Bay Skating Academy in Oldsmar, Florida on March 23, 2011.
St. Petersburg Police officers faced off against Tampa Bay Lightning Alumni and current staff members.
All proceeds from admission, raffles and donations went to the fallen officer’s fund.

Fashion Funds a Cure: Pediatric Cancer Benefit
A fashion show was held on March 10, 2011 with celebrity guests and Tampa Bay Lightning players and alumnus Dave Andreychuk on hand the fashion show which featured pediatric cancer patients and survivors was a huge success. Raising money for Pediatric Cancer Research the children stole the show. Dave could barely keep up with the young lady he was accompanying down the runway.
CANUSA Golf Tournament
Taking place at King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton Ontario was a wonderful tournament
for the CANUSA organization. The Dave Andreychuk Foundation was on hand to raise money and give out some great prizes to many who donated to the Foundation.

AJ's Sports World invited Dave to a special autograph signing in Toronto. All proceeds from Dave's appearance were donated to the Dave Andreychuk Foundation.

The Canadian National Autism Foundation Celebrity Fundraiser. A fantastic Hamilton event that help to raise funds for Autism Awareness and assistance for families in need. Many local celebrities were on hand to celebrate the growth of the foundation and the aid it provides for those in need. Dave as the guest of honour spoke after dinner, signed autographs and posed for photos with guests. Some of the other celebrities participating in the celebration were: Harry Howell (Hockey Hall of Famer), Janette Ewen (Co-Host of Inside the Box), Dave Dykstra (Sprint Car Champion), David Clemmer (Style By Jury), Walter Gretzky, Bryan Potvin (Northern Pikes).

The Nustadia and Dave Andreychuk Foundation Golf Tournament. Taking place in Hamilton Ontario, this Golf tournament helps to raise funds to ensure that every year no child in Hamilton will go without playing hockey due to economic disadvantages.
Dave played in the tournament with his father and other members of the Foundation were there lending a hand to such a great cause.

While on the road with the Lightning as the Sunsports color commentator over the weekend Dave made a stop at the WGR 550AM SportsRadio Auto Show in support of the Foundation. There were wonderful meet and greets as well as a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the Dave Andreychuk Foundation. Auto Show by day and then Commenting on a Lightning win over the Sabres at night!

March 19, 2012 Guys and Gals Night Out
On Monday, March 19, 2012, Dave Andreychuk and the Dave Andreychuk Foundation hosted Guys & Gals Night Out to benefit Shriners Hospital in Tampa. Dave's fans and friends spent the evening watching the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Buffalo Sabres at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in a party suite with Dave as their host! Guests enjoyed food and drinks, chance drawings, silent auctions, photo opportunities and a chance to meet Dave. A big thanks to all the guests, volunteers, Lightning staff and our photographers, Marcus McCord Photography and Bryan Leighty of BWL Photography. See you all next year!

Tampa Police Benevolent Association's 5th annual
Memorial Golf Tournament
The Dave Andreychuk Foundation was a proud sponsor of this year's Tampa Police Benevolent Association's 5th annual Memorial Golf Tournament. The PBA was formed in 2009 with funds going specifically to help the loved ones of officers lost in the line of duty. The tournament was held at the Hunter's Green Country Club.
